Mr. Rashed Ahmed Chowdhury obtained Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Studies, UK and a Post Graduate degree in Business Management from Kingston University, UK in 1977. He is the Chairman of Banga Garments Ltd. and ABC Building Products Ltd. He is the current Chairman of Mutual Trust Bank Limited, representing ABC.
A Director of Shamsuddin Towels Ltd., ABC Real Estates Limited and Associated Builders Corporation Limited, he overseas business development, finance and organizational policy of the company.
He is involved in social activities and was the President of Rotary Club of Dhaka Central, Asstt. Governor (2007-2008) Rotary District – 3280 (Bangladesh), Area – 17, Senior Vice President of Bangladesh Terry Towel Manufacturers and Exporters Association and Present Chairman of Board of Trustees of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) and Founder Member and Vice President of Cadet College Club Ltd.
He is a member of Chartered Management Institute, UK.
